"On The Yard" is a television show that pertains to Southern University and A&M College with a twist of entertainment videos. Goldie Davenport, the current host/producer/editor, interviews southern students about current topics that are affecting them. The show is currently airing on Wednesdays at 8 pm on COX channel 4 in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lafayette. Darrell Roberson and Goldie Davenport originally starting filming the show in 2005 as tool for students to gain experience in the production field. 'On The Yard' has evolved into the premiere example of Southern University's Educational, Inspirational, and Informative Entertainment show.
